Detour is a new TBS comedy created and written by the husband-and-wife team of Jason Jones and Samantha Bee–whose show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee immediately follows it on Monday nights. Sadly, TBS doesn’t allow full frontal… or even nudity for that matter… but Detour‘s debut on April 11, 2016 still managed to offend the watchdog Parents Television Council thanks to the energetic efforts of curvy Katie Gunderson as a stripper working the pole! Based on the real-life family vacation misadventures of Jason and Sam, the premiere let viewers Keep ‘Up’ with the Joneses by having them pull into the Banana Creamery for the kids on a road trip, only to discover it’s a strip club! “The strippers wear bikinis,” the conservative Council protests. “One holds a bottle of champagne that spurts out liquid”–Katie’s the lady splashing the bubbly over her jubblies! “Can I see you pop a bottle of champagne with your ass?” Jason asks…and considering the 5-foot-7, 120 pound hottie has the body for basketball, soccer, track, skiing, and horseback riding, we’re guessing her rear could bottle beer in a pinch! “I’m obsessed with Scandal,” gorgeous Gunderson tweeted in November 2014… and just 16 months later was co-starring on the smash ABC series! So it’s only a matter of time before Gundy graces more nights than Monday: “If I’m ever famous enough to get my phone hacked,” Katie quipped in an April 2015 tweet, “I’m not worried about naked photos… I’m worried about the pig impressions I send to Ty” (her guy). We’re rooting for her!
